Austin Butler is currently making waves for his groundbreaking performances in Elvis, but that wouldn’t be the last fans would see of the actor. Butler is currently filming Dune: Part Two with the director Denis Villeneuve. He will play Feyd-Rautha, nephew of Baron Harkonnen’s favorite (Stellan Skarsgard), leader of House Atreides’ rival House. In the books, he’s even more cunning than his monstrous brother, “Beast” Rabban (Dave Bautista), and eventually becomes the primary antagonist of Paul Atreides, who will again be played by Timothée Chalamet. During a recent interview with diverseHowever, Butler talked more about joining the sequel.
“Well, I just love the first movie so much. It was just such a masterpiece of cinema. So the idea of becoming a part of the world is so exciting. And Dennis is one of my favorite filmmakers and he’s just such an amazing human being. He’s so sweet and I admire every single one of those actors in The movie, so I felt really proud.” He added, “It’s really surreal. You kind of feel like a kid in, you know in your favorite movie, it’s like walking into the set of whatever movie you liked as a kid. Like walking into Indiana Jones Or something… Movies that really affect you as a kid, that’s how it felt. ”
